May 23, 2020 : Countdown #1
The countdown has begun – it is all rather intimidating. However, remembering the chaos and confusion when I moved to Basalt from Toklat at Ashcroft in 2005 with my 86 year old mother and my 120 pound Newfoundland, this could be considered a trifle.
May 11, 2020 : Lynne is Retiring!
I hope this Newsletter finds you well in the sense of the classic Aspen trio: body, mind and spirit. As for me, the spirit was crushed, the mind was boggled and the body held firm.!

April 1, 2019 : Turquoise Stands for Water and for Sky
The Alpine Tribal Collection — Kathy Hansel’s jewelry embodies a cross cultural reverence for nature. She combines ancient Scandinavian art concepts inspired by her Nordic heritage, with a deep love and regard for Western Native American artistry into the Alpine Tribal Collection. The collection merges silver smithing and the combination of elegant refined materials, such as pearls and precious gems opposing the imperfect textures of turquoise, bone and various stone beads in a refreshing way that whispers appreciation of those before us.
